Flip, an ultra portable video camera will be produced in a smaller size. It called Mino. An hour video can be stored by Mino. The users can upload their videos to YouTube and MySpace directly.

Pure Digital, the company told that they want the users will be easy to use the video and can take it in the pocket because of its smallness.

Actually, Pure Digital has been succeeding in selling Flip. After launched last June 2007, Flip became the number two of selling in video market after Sony DVD610. Pure Digital sold about 1 million of this product and got 20 % of market. Even it was the number one video selling at Amazon. Before its launching, in 2006 just 3.7 million video cameras sold. But, the number rose into 4.1 million in 2007 because almost of the users bought Flip.

However, there’s a prediction that Mino will get difficulties in selling because of its price. Mino will be sold about $179. The young people as the target consumers maybe will think twice to purchase it because they already have the similar products to take videos.

However, the company is optimist because the smaller products are the winner anywhere because human beings like smaller and functional products.
